Tea Clinic: Digestion
Ingredients: Black tea, cinnamon, ginger, fennel, clove & cardamon
Black tea is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to alleviate reactions to chronic stress, which can have profound effects on the digestive system.
Often when we lack vitality, feel lethargic and sluggish one of the causes is weak digestion, preventing us absorbing the nutrients properly from our food and utilising it efficiently to give us energy.
For hundreds of years, aromatic spiced tea has been drunk as a satisfying and healthy beverage, strengthening digestion by stimulating, balancing and supporting it.
Cinnamon and fennel are thought to calm the stomach and digestive tract, ginger, cardamon & clove to stimulate and soothe it. This combination creates a fantastic warming digestive tonic.
